A
comment from a Fair Goer:
Myra, Hello!
This full moon on the last day of June was special indeed.
It was also a small record for me, and I'm still new to that
business. My talk audience bore with me . It was a great
experience..
I enjoyed my chat with Neal, he has great stories (I've
been to F. Scott Fitzgerald's grave, we lived in
Rockville, MD) but he had more stories ... this year's
Fair seemed so easy and effortless - I just showed up,
that's basically all. I was let in for free, the booth
costing nothing because I was presenting, so do I really
not owe you anything? If not money, I owe you a big
thank you for having had such a great time.
Lots of love, peace, and more joy,
Eva

Both local
Television stations (WDTV, WBOY-TV) covered the Fair. The steward
of La Paix, Myra Bonhage-Hale is seen here being interviewed by WDTV
reporter (who really loved Dale Hawkins signature lavender honey ice
cream after the interview)

Mike Plybon plies his

massage therapists at the Fair.

My son, William Nicoll Hale III ran himself ragged keeping up with all
the needs of the people putting up their booths, the registration table
etc. etc. etc. He was worn out - too worn out to Rant and Rave at
his booth when he found he forgot the patch cord! So he just kept
being a help to everybody for the rest of the day. And his
lovely girlfriend, Dana Jo, added much peaceful ambiance to the
proceedings!

My daughter, Kathleen Shannon O'Brien
Hale, led an entranced group through the Silver Labyrinth.
She helped in so many ways I cannot tell them all. I am so
proud and blessed to have such wonderful children.

Jeannette Grotke and Lynnda Skinner Kratovil

They loved the Fair so much they asked to come again and work next year!
Lynnda has been my friend for 55 years.

Thanks for the summary
Myra-
We had a wonderful time again~
We are in Western NY visiting Ben's mom for a week.
I brought a lavender sachet to help me keep a foot in the peace I felt
amidst LaPaix last Saturday. It's on my nightstand.
We are so impressed with you & your fair. It's inspiring!
Thanks!
Stacy
What a Fair!
What a great time!!! I
can not thank you enough for your hospitality in the midst of the
frantic drawing together of that wonderful FAIR. Lynnda had told me
how wonderful it was and how I would love it. She was on the money.
I am not sure when I
have met so many people in one place with which I felt such an
affinity. Denise, Elaine, Bill and his delightful and charming girl
friend, the massage man ( I can't remember everyone's name) and of
course your daughter, She is something else. I loved both of your
kids...they are so warm and genuine.
I still marvel at how
you are able to get everyone to work together (even with a couple of
wrinkles) and end a day like that all friends. You are something.
Thank you so much for
letting me in on the fun. It has restored my faith again.
Come see me...ANY
time.............yours, jeannette
It was very nice, Myra.
I was happy my plans had changed and I was able to attend. My
neighbor was there, as well as a friend from Bridgeport Newcomers
and two friends who work at the Bridgeport Library. Then there were
all the WVHA members who attended. Felt like being at 4-H camp when
I was a kid. You outdid yourself. What will you ever do for an
encore? Ann
