While Joan was giving her talk, Melissa Dennison was doing a workshop on Making Herbal Soap and Ben and Stacey McKean were giving a program in the TV room on Building their Straw Built Home.  Each time slot had at least 3 different workshops/talks/demos taking place.

Chuck Klein came with his baby boy to celebrate with Art & Anna Digman.  Myra, shown here making baby faces (I guess that's what you call it) and Art participated in a WV Public TV Outlook show produced by Chuck on Dowsing and the Labyrinth at La Paix. Helen Caldwell, photographer.

Joan shows one of the many plant samples she brought to share with her delighted audience.  Alan Rowe, of the Culture and History Dept., W.V. views from the far right.  He was extremely instrumental and helpful in helping to make La Paix Herb Farm a National Historic Landmark.
