Keynote Speaker Bio

Maureen Rogers has been in the herb industry for over 25 years.  She currently
is the Executive Director for The Herb Growing & Marketing Network, a trade association for the industry, since 1990.  She is also the creator of
HerbNET.com and the editor of Herbalpedia, a digital encyclopedia on
herbs.  At one time or another she has had a retail herb shop, manufactured
herbal fragrance and body care products, been the business manager for a wholesale flower and herb farm and consulted as an herbal practitioner. 
She lectures to groups around the country on herbs and the business of
herbs.    She is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Massage Therapist.

DIRECTIONS TO LA PAIX HERB FARM

From Interstate I 79, take Exit 99, turn left toward Weston to Route 33 west.  Travel about fifteen miles on Rt. 33 West. 
When you have traveled approximately thirteen miles, you will note the Alum Bridge Elementary School on your left. 
Keep going another two miles to Crooked Run Road on your left. The sign for Crooked Run is on your right. 
Turn left on Crooked Run.  There will be signs posted along 33 and Crooked Run to aid your journey to the Fair. 
Go up Crooked Run 2-l/2 miles to a mailbox on your right which says La Paix Farm. 
Turn left (it is the first left hand turn on Crooked Run) and go another mile to La Paix Herb Farm at the end of the road.  There will be people directing parking as you enter La Paix.
