(not active as of this date 2-15-2007 but the information below may
be helpful.
|
| According to the
American Society of Dowsers: Dowsing is more than dowsing for
water. There are many applications for dowsing. They
include: search and location functions such as for minerals,
electromagnetic fields, noxious rays, geopathic zones, lost objects,
lost persons, lost animals, dowsing for personal-related objects
(such as jewelry, stolen goods) spiritual dowsing - the list goes on
and on. The applications are endless. Map dowsing is
another of the many applications.

This is Art Digman, master
dowser, showing how to find information with the use of a pendulum he
designed. Art, who is slight, lurches forward when he gets a
positive answer. For a list of various dowsing devices, see Dowsing
in the Garden. Some people do not have to use anything but their own
body to dowse. Remember Shakespeare's words "By the pricking of
my thumbs, something wicked this way comes". That's dowsing. |

MAKING INTENTIONS
|
| I have been practicing
Making Intentions since first hearing about the technique at the Vermont
American Society of Dowsers Conference five or six years ago. Among
those teaching making intentions were Harold McCoy of the Ozark Research
Institute and Ms. Mary Marie Satterlee, a board member of ASD. The
basic technique is to state clearly your intention, making sure that the
date, place and subject are clearly delineated. For example, saying
"I intend that it will be a sunny day today" may happen, but it
could happen anywhere and your intention would be fulfilled.
Instead, say, "I intend that there will be a sunny, warm day on
Saturday, March 29th, 2002 at La Paix Herb Farm in Alum Bridge, West
Virginia." Say it as if you mean it. IF
YOUR INTENTION IS IN YOUR OWN BEST INTERESTS AND THE UNIVERSE'S, IT WILL
HAPPEN. Notice that the intention is stated in positive
terms, not "I intend that it will not rain today", but "I
intend that it will be a sunny day today." |
|
To Summarize Making
Intentions |
|
1. State your
intention clearly - be sure that it is clear in your own mind.
2. State your intention in positive terms.
3. State the date and place.
4. Understand that if you do not get your intention, it is because
it is either not in your best interests or the universe's, and there is
something to be learned from that.
