Photos of Lavender Harvested in late June, early July 2005 |

|
This is the lavender shown on the
proceeding page in it's first year.
In late June of it's second year
in the field, it bloomed profusely.
|
 |
As can be seen here in the left
foreground, some of the lavender
which looked so good in the summer
of 2004 died during the winter.
We replaced thirty-six plants out of
the 200 or so planted in late May
of 2004. |
|

This is Grosso (Dilly Dilly, Fat Spike) Lavandin, the
lavender which seems
to grow best at La Paix. |

|

|
|

Evening at La Paix. This lavandin is three
years old and the plants are about 3' wide
and 3' tall when in bloom.
|

This is on the south facing hill shown
on the left. The lavandin seems to
thrive here. Most of the day during the
winter, the sun shines on this area.

Miss Torma meanders
through the blooming lavender. |
